Eksist is a colorful 2D platformer that portrays the players journey through an absurd world.

Controls

WASD - Move

Space - Jump + Double Jump (Holding -> More height) + Moving onto new Dialogue

Shift - Dash 

W - Use to open door in the final scene! 

Mouse - Drag ( if needed)

Notes

This game was made for a college assignment, where we were given the option to explore our fascinations. For my project I chose to explore the philosophical movements Absurdism and Existentialism. I wanted to show the inherent contrast between life and the meaning we seek through a set of predetermined achievements; graduating, getting a house, finding love and having a child. But around us are endless opportunities to find meaning, so why be glued to the same as everyone else?
